The Enabling Environment Toolkit provides a wide range of strategies and actions to help take your organisational environment to a higher level in enabling transformational leaders.

A transformational leader is someone who:

  • Fosters and inspires purpose-driven leadership;
  • Builds leadership capacity for action;
  • Creates a collaborative working environment, and
  • Supports the achievement of results

The Toolkit may be used in various ways. If you have completed the Enabling Environment Assessment Tool and received your Interpretative Report you will have identified three key developmental priorities for your organization. From there you may wish to use the Toolkit to find those which correspond to these priorities. It may also be used to inspire your own ideas or may constitute a starting point for actions you would like to take.

The Enabling Environment Toolkit may also be useful to those who haven’t done a formal assessment but are looking for ideas on how to better support Transformational Leaders.
